Dial indicator

Where's the best place to buy a 1-10mm dial indicator since Pelican doesn't have them?

MSC, McMasterCarr and Enco all sell them online if that helps.

How do I know which ones will fit the z-block holder?

Another option although I'm sure it's of lesser quality than some of the other suggested vendors....displays in metric and SAE and often on sale. I bought mine for $14.99 3 weeks ago.

I know, I know...CHEAP TOOLS...YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR...YADA YADA!!! But here's another vote for Harbor Freight. I bought the digital one and the old skool analog/dial one. I think they're good enough for what I need!

HI you will req' a dti with a 8mm shaft (to fit the porsche Z holder) and a extension of app'20/25mm long, depending on the range of the dti you use, i have a 20mm range dti with a 20mm extension.
