Engine ID?

Is there are resource on the web to ID engines without getting the Kardex/CofA?

Do you mean to know if the engine matches the VIN of a particular car? If so the answer is no (unless it is for a '73 Carrera RS). If you mean to find out what year and displacement the engine is based on the serial # then yes. All you have to do is post the # and we can tell what type it is.
