28 tube oil cooler, what year is it?

I have a 28 tube cooler, lines & thermostat. posted "FS". Multible persons have asked what year it is? I know these coolers were used in the euro & asian market before they were installed for a short time in U.S. market cars. (79-'83 sticks in my mind) the thermostat here beside me has casting#911.107.163.0R for what that is worth.... I want to provide accurate information. So, a more accurate answer to this question would be welcome.
Thank you, Anna

According to the 911 performance handbook, 80 - 84 Euro and 83 - 84 for US.

I put one on my 73.
