MFI and E85

THe local co-op is supposedly putting in an E85 pump. It's supposed to be between 102-110 octane (depending on the final water content of the ethanol) and will be priced around 2 bucks a gallon.

My Murican' mud drag buddies tell me that other than increased fuel delivery volumes (bigger jets) and changing and BuNa to viton, its an easy swap.

Being part way inside an MFI pump, I have not found anything so far that would seem to preclude the use of E85 and as the increase in fuel between gas and E85 is linear (just the % difference in the densities), I don't think it would require a 're-mapping' of the pump. Just a fixed adjustment.

Any of the MFI experts have thoughts on this? I would like to get off the forgien stuff AND not get reamed at 3.17 for premium...
