Complete 911 Engine Rebuild -dallas, Tx
 

Can anyone recommend the BEST shop in Dallas, TX to do a complete engine rebuild on my 1987 Carrera? I want the engine completely detailed and modified with several high performance options. I'm a new Porsche owner and I'm trying to do as much research as possible before handing over several thousand dollars to just anyone. I have met with Jim Lennington at Dallas Euro Cars. He seems highly competent and has taken time to explain to me what my options are. Has anyone had any dealings with Jim. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Tom at Mayo's installed my Steve Timmins built 3.6L. Great guy and very talented. I was working with the same shop on rebuilding options for my 3.2L before going that route. They are very thorough and build for reliability. I worked with Steve Kent on the engine building options.

Tom made a house call free of charge after the install to tweeak a few things, help ensure my new wheels and tires fit, and ensure everything was perfect. He even did this on a Saturday! Highly recommended.
