Machine Shops in Western Canada

Before I go thru the hassle of sending parts back and forth to the States does anyone know of any Porsche Competent machine shops in Western Canada. I will need a set of heads twin plugged and rebuilt and a crankshaft/rods checked and rebushed.

I would check with Steve @ Rennsport Systems. He can give you the pros and cons on machine shops. You want to do this right the first time, preferably by someone with much Porsche experience.

Hayward Performance in Maple ridge BC. He does all of my heads and just finished twin plugging a set of 3.2 heads for me. 604 467 9213 Tell him I sent you.......

Just heads and cases. I use High Performance Engines in Burnaby for rods and cranks, they are very knowledgeable. The local Hi Perf Porsche shops and the dealer all use High Performance Engines and Lance Hayward for their work. High Performance is 604 299 6131. Dave will answer, he know me pretty well and knows Mike J as well who recent 993 rebuild was featured on this board.

Thanks Jeff, now all I need is to decide who to use to rebuild the MFI Pump

Hmmmmm, Eurometrix can probably do that. There are only a couple of places that seem to get talked about for that. I think another place is Pacific Fuel Injection?? A quick search should yeild some answers on that one.

I second Jeff's recommendations for Lance Hayward and High Performance Engines...they both did a fantastic job and are willing to spend the time to answer all my questions, etc.
