JE Pistons circlips, why can't you use proper ones?
 

Not that JE ones are abnormal or anything, but given all the issues with getting the JE clips in why do they have these 'special' ones instead of the 'normal' normal ones with the holes for inserting them? Is there some issue with them coming out at high revs? Pretty much every motor I've seen (including air cooled aircraft) use these, why does JE use something else?
