Flow data for a Carerra 3.0 head
I'm running some engine simulations to try to finalize my cam and CR selection for my 3.2 short-stroke engine. One input the program needs is flow rates vs valve lift. Does anyone have this data for the Carerra 3.0 heads? - these are the same heads as the early SCs - 39mm intake ports, 35mm exhaust, 49mm intake valves, 41.5mm exhaust.
I've run some simulations of the configurations I'm considering and the results don't fit my intuition at all. Right now I'm considering 1. Staying with what I have - a Webcam 20/21 profile and 9.5:1 Pistons. 2. Changing the cam to a DC40-108 3. Changing the pistons to 10.5:1 and changing the cam to a DC62-108. Right now Dyno 2000 is telling me that option 1 will give me the most torque from 4000-7000. This is hard to believe. |
