Anyone install Steve Wong HFM5 Mass Flow Sensor?
 

911chips has what looks like a very nifty AFS that uses modern technology anyone know of how it works and a dyno chart to show the difference? Curious that I don't see a dyno chart for a e.g. 3.2 with and without one of these on the 911chips website.

I really like the looks of this thing...maybe I can get Steve to put one on for 30 minutes and see what it feels like. $2,700

Definitely the cherry on top with other engine mods if you can afford it. The biggest increase is seat of the pants feel and responsiveness

IMHO the biggest problem is MOST of what you are paying for is that darn carbon-fiber box. I guess for short production runs it was less expensive than traditional plastic tooling/setup, but this is definitely WAY out there in terms of $/HP ($2700/ 5?) for 80's 911 street use. I told him about new advances in materials and stereolithography and how even for small runs it would be more economical (and thus he'd sell more than a handful a year). If he finds the time, and submits a CAD file to some of these places, that price could easily be under $1000. Definitely the best aftermarket MAF kit you can get for the car though, Steve knows his stuff. I like him so I can't dog him, but, unless you've got everything else dialed in to the max, I'd be surprised if you don't have some other area on your car where the same money would get better results.
