964 distributor bearings

After opening up my dual distributor to change the drive belt, I found that the bearings were in pretty rough shape. I could repack them if I have to, but I would rather replace them.

Does anybody know the bearing number for the sealed bearings? (I think there are three in total) and a source to get them from? I don't see any numbers on them.

Anybody done this? Got any tips/instructions/etc?

Kirk

Kirk:

Porsche (as you know) doesn't sell those bearings and they are somewhat special.

I could not get them in North America so I imported them from Germany even though they were very expensive.

I'm not in a position to sell them, but I'd be happy to rebuild your distributor if that helps.

Thanx steve,
I ended up repacking them for now and putting a new belt in. I'll look into it again some time in the future when I have fewer things on the go.
