Flywheel timing sensor wiring on 3.2L (crank triggers)
I got the two sensors mixed up when I had the engine out and the plugs coming from the harness are seemingly indistiguishable. Is there any way to determine which plug goes to which sensor? Does it matter? Would it hurt if I had them backwards?

I'd need to go look to see if the contact positions are the same in each plug set...check this, if not the same you will be able to figure out which plug goes to which. If they are the same... try one way and then the other to get it running. I don't think having them hooked up crossed will cause perm. damage...that would be something to check out...I put labels on mine so I won't mix'em during engine drops

I had them marked, but ended up getting them both off of the engine at the same time.

It won't hurt (or start) if you get them mixed up. BTDT a few times. :D

If you replaced them or removed them, make sure you check the gap ...much easier to do while the engine is out.
