Help with car choice. Older car, fewer miles, or newer car, more miles.
What would you do? Need (not want) to replace a killed cab. Want a coupe to do some DE maybe and the security o fa roof.
84 Coupe, 90K miles, in good shape, sounds like it has been DEd (the owner had a 74 setup for the track onlyl, wiht extensive mods), PCA enthusiast, exhaust, chip, bolt in roll bar, 5% leakdown, 7&9" Fuchs with S02s. or 89 Coupe, 120K miles, apparently minty, likely not tracked, being given up for a new 545i. A bit more for the 89. What would you offer for these cars assuming no surprises? Lawrence

There is almost no difference between 90 and 120 thousand miles. They are both near 100. The 89 has a g50 and newer valve guide and head stud material also. How do they drive/feel. Colour and options like ltd slip, records, mean alot too.
