Crank pulley bolt '82 SC
Hi,
Trying to remove the crank pulley, to get at the oil seal for r/r. Have tried heat, liquid wrench, and a 450# Makita impact driver. Bolt won't budge. Engine is IN. Is it left-handed thread? Other tricks? Thanks! Ben |

Crank Pulley Bolt
Thanks, Jim, for the quick response and link. Will sneak up on it again, maybe catch it at a weak moment. Ben

Turns out electric impact drivers just don't have the 'shock' that an air driver has (and is needed to break the Durlock). Got a neighbor's rig and it surrendered. The 'bigger hammer' theory prevails. Thanks again.
