cam nut removal question??

Well im in the process of what ive been dreaming of for months now and that is an engine overhaul.....Im staring at a long block and im now looking at removing the cam nut on a 83sc, which has the single 19mm nut....can this be zapped off with an impact wrench??? and im guessing the cam tower cannot be removed without removing the cam nut, so i could starting removing the heads and cylinder, right?????

HI you have some sort of maual to work from??, it is just that the 19mm nut is (if you have been reading) a bolt, it will "ZAP OFF " with a air gun, as long as the guy befor has NOT locktight the bolt in, you will require tool P9191 to hold the cam to tighten the bolt back up to the correct torque.

regards mike
