Bad surface quality !

Hi There,

I bougth a Carerra Chain tensioner conversion kit (hydralic) to upgrade my SC. I wondering if anyone have seen so bad surface quality in the cover, in the bore where the tensioner it self is sticking out trough. I do not believe in that the O-ring could seal in the bore without using any sealing compound too ! ??

When i was trying to test assemble the parts i discovered that the rigth cover couldn't fit over the tensioner and the tap for the idler arm.. i measured it up, an found that a difference of 0,2mm in the centerdistance between the bore's in the cover, and the distanse in the tensioner..

Have anyone seen that before ?

Regards Roslin

Garage
I had a cover that was about 1mm off. I sent it back to the vendor for a new one.
