Machine shop near Las Vegas

Hi fellows,
I have the 964 engine out of my '90 C2 (58000 miles) and on the stand for stripping. Reason for overhaul is exhaust valves leaking at 60-70 per cent on half the cylinders. While it is apart I plan new piston/cylinders and will need the heads machined for the later style cylinders (which have the head gasket rings), in addition to the new valve guides and regular head service. I don't know of a specialist to trust the work to here in Las Vegas, so will need to send/take them either over to SoCal or up to Sparks.
After reading the sad experiences of others regarding Motor Meister, I certainly am not going to just pick a firm from the advertisers in Porsche Panorama. Anyone have recommendations? I am thinking about EBS Company up in Sparks, NV.

EBS is great. FWIW, they're now in Reno.

Best,

Ditto on EBS. They are great to deal with.

Yup - EBS is great.
If you are thinking of shipping to CS, give Henry at Supertec a call as well.

James,
Carl's Place in Vegas is a great local shop. They are currently rebuilding my sc engine and have sent those parts needing machine work to Ottos in Venice, Ca. I have heard nothing but great things on this board and others about his work. Otto's In Venice...

Thanks again guys,
I expect that I will send/carry the parts over to Supertec in SoCal, which is closer than driving up to Reno. Henry has certainly been a great asset to this fine engine rebuilding forum, and I spoke with him yesterday about the work.
Thanks JP for the recommendation. I know of Carl's Place (have attended several tech sessions there) and have the highest respect for Carl, Tony and the entire team; in this case though I am looking for machine shop services. I would call Otto's but have already made a commitment with Supertec for this particular job.

Regards,
James

Can't go wrong with Henry. Let us know how everything works out.
