Main seal??

Hello folks i have problem with the main seal leaking again, it has been replaced three times anyone please.
first time engine rebuild, "leak" took engine out replace rear main seal, now again clutch job replace rear main seal. need help resolving this ajklfklf please..

I've never gotten mine not to leak... If you figure it out, let me know...

I'll bet I've installed at least 1/2 dozen of them, and I've tried at least 4 different methods....

All of them have resulted in the same drip drip drip...

Its nothing major, just an annoyance....

thanks, how about the oil getting into your clutch? is it a big problem? i am just worried my track car for the last ten years without a drop of oil leaks everywhere.

never had an issue with it getting on the flywheel or clutch, and all I do is track my car....

Like I said, if you figure out the magic method - LET ME KNOW!!!

Mine drips primarily when the engine is cold. Once it warms up, it still drips a little, but the leakage seems to reduce itself when warm...

(kinda doesn't make sense because the oil is thinner when warmer, but I guess the tolerances tighten up enough to make up for it)
