Gas Leaking from Cylinder # 3 area?

Hello All,

I have posted on the technical forum but did not get an answer that solved the problem so I thought I would post here as this is a freshly rebuilt engine.

This is a Supertec 2.4S MFI engine. It has all of 20 Miles on it. I have a pesky fuel leak problem that I cannot seem to get resolved. I have replaced allot of parts already but I still seem to have the same leak out of what appears to be Cylinder # 3. (See picture)

I have replaced the fuel line, Fuel injector and crush washer. I have torqued to spec.

Has anyone ever experienced anything similar. I am open to suggestions. I would like to get some miles on this car before the winter.

Thanks,

Brent

It sounds like you've done what you can with that injector-maybe the leak is not from there. I'd check up around the injection pump and the fuel lines going there from the fuel filter. How bad is the leak is it just damp there or is fuel running out?
