Bolt Stretching for OEMs?

So rather than hijack someone else's thread...

Anyone ever looked at the stretch on factory bolts? It would be more consistant to use a stretch gage for the factory bolts as well, right? Or are factory bolts so over built for street engines that its not worth the time?

Best regards,

Michael

Geez, I went away and came back and not one peep on this. Come on, one of you engine building gurus must have experimented with this some time inthe past? There's no way I could have had an Orriginal thought!!!

Best regards,

Michael

Is there a stretch spec for the factory rod bolts on your engine? I've never seen one, or maybe I overlooked it.
