I am planning to replace both wheel rear bearings and have 2 questions that i could not find answers to in the search.
75 targa (early model). 1. should i replace the cv joint bolts? 2. should i replace the gaskets Any advice is appreciated.

I would replace the gaskets and if the bolts are in good condition they can be reused. I've found replacements for these at Ace Hardware if you need them. Make sure you get the same quality (grade 8 or whatever).

Less brakes, more gas!

I bought a whole box of 100 zink plated higher grade bolts from MSC for the same price as I would have gotten them online individually. If you plan on R&R'ing engine/tranny multiple times could be usefull to buy bulk.
Just a thought ![]() Best regards, Michael
