Any significant advantage of going to EFI over the carbs with these cams.
I'm happy with the 7000-7200 shift point (for longevity sake)

I do change profiles for the pmo's vs. webers. I might do a DC80-104 instead of the DC80-100. the -100 is the lobe seperation angle. The 104 angle stretches the powerband and works better with PMO's. Doesnt work to well with Webers.

John, why would you change the cams based on the carb manufacturer, or is it because you are referring to 50 mm PMO's versus 46 mm Webers (or PMO's of the same size)? If the carb diameter, venturi size are the same, I don't understand how the engine will be able to tell the difference. (Note, PMO's may have an improved transition circuit design over the Weber '46's, but I can't picture how that will make such a big difference.)

Wide LSA (106-108 Lobe Center Angles) is something I have tried over and over with Weber carbs. For some reason Webers like 98-102 angles.
The PMO carbs work with tight angles (100) and wide (108).
The nice part about is, if the customer is using a DC80 and wants a little more top end power, but the DC100 is too much, I can widen the DC80's out to 104 or 106 and it works. I cant do that with Weber carbs, I have tried.

I had a customer who races overseas. His car was chassis dynoed before each event and weight was added based on peak HP numbers. Going from the DC100-100 cams back to a DC80-106 lost him about 5 hp, and gained over 25 ft lbs at 5000 rpms. The car ended up lighter and faster off the corners and won more races.
Oh, and he shifted less each lap which helped.

Just walked into a set of DC100 cams on 106 centers. I know these are for a big, high revving motor, but dont know much else. Any thoughts?
