New 2.5 Race Motor

Here are some photos of my new motor coming together. Should be done in the next week or two. Things are starting to come together.

I had the transmission rebuilt. New gears, A, GA, L, R, W.

Here are some pictures of the assembly.

New Pauter Rods...

Old "S" Rods... (not being used)

I will be selling my old "S" rods. They have been Maged and polished and balanced. I also have the 69 "S" type heads, JE pistons, and Nikasil clylinders and PMO tall intake manifolds from my old 2.0L Motor that I am going to be selling. This are matching peices. All from a well built 2.0L race motor.

Looks great Mark. A few questions:

1) That's a very clean case. How did you get it so clean?

2) What has been done to the heads? It looks as though the sealing surface has been flycut.

3) Who did the boattailing and the squirter installation?

Those are good looking rods, this should be quite an engine.

John,

Thanks, I cant wait to get that baby back in the car.

I wish I knew how the case got that clean. My super builder (Allan Faragallah, from Aase) is building this motor. He has been the one getting all the work done. I will get more info for you and get back to you. If PLAVAN reads this maybe he can chime in. Since Allan did his motor as well.

Mark,
I sent you a PM earlier too (in case you haven't already rejected it).

Thanks,
