Well since my 3.0 eat a piston, I am thinking of 3.6. But of course that’s $$$$...interesting find on eBay who turned out to be a pelican member. Called him, he seemed legit, but I very cautioned of buying an internet motor, regards of where it comes from. Seems a top end rebuild was done, but the engine was not run. You can't really PPI the engine, or can you? Engine has been sitting for a year...
FS: 3.0 motor and 915 transmission What do you think?

John
I was hoping you would chime on this. To be honest I don't know, the shop says they would have tear down the motor to tell me. They gave me an estimate of $10k for a rebuild, which I thought was high, and I think the shop told me a top end only. I got a quote of $4k to $5k elsewhere from a shop I would like to go too, but my car is dead at the other shop. I did have a fellow pelican tell me he would help out and get my car out of there and take to the other shop, but I havent gotten around to going and checking the other shop out.
