964 cylinders

Hi Guys,
I just wanted to know what the differences are between the 95 mm SC cylinders and the 964 cylinders. I accept that the 964 cylinders have a 100 mm bore and the spigot diameter is also larger.

Overall dimensions of the 964 cylinders would be a great help.

Thanks

The biggest difference and the reason you can't use them on an earlier case is the stud spacing, SC/Carrera 3.0 and 3.2 use 86mm cylinder stud spacing, 964 and 993 use 90mm.

Bore centers were not changed

Thanks Bill

Is it not possible to machine the stud holes in the cylinder, so that they can match the earlier type.

I realise that the case spigots would need to be enlarged by 2 mm.

Cheers
