HI Roslin check the bolt grade for the torque setting, from the list below.

the grade is on the top of the bolt 11.9 or 12.9, if there 12.9 use the LSD setting

Thanks Mike.

The bolts are 12.9 so that might be 160NM.

The thin you send me are already powder coated, and fit in place on the engine. Only thing is the transmission now, and then i should be ready to put everything back in the car again YES !
(Is this the Bentley manual you are looking in ? )

Pictures following later.

Regards Roslin

HI Roslin no it's the workshop manual, why have you removed the bolts from the CW on the diff?? just check the bolts are the corect length for the diff carrier/crownwheel as 3 lengths are available!.

Mike, The wheel was removed, when i discovered that one of the conical bearing have been lose on the journal.. so i felt it was essayer to handle the part without the crown-wheel, when it was repaired. I also used the surface to check the run-out during the circular grinding of the journal. A lot has been in bad condition in that transmission, but i think it will end up with good one.. :-)

Regards Roslin

... i saw in an old workshop manual, that the crown-wheel should be heated before install, but mine was easy to fit, so no press fit here..?

I do not know if the tolerance has been changed on newer models..
