Removal of Crankcase Sealant
 
Hey Guys...

What is the best/easiest way to remove the old crankcase sealant?

I use a small pile of single edge razor blades and a ton of patience. :)

Follow that with a wipe down using a lint-free cloth soaked with brake cleaner and that usually does the trick.

Permatex gasket remover works great. Don't get it on your engine stand though - it will remove the paint.
