Rod bearing markings 964

Perhaps this is a silly question for this forum , but I just bought new rod bearings for my 964 C2 and they where packed two and two. One half in each pair was marked with blue and the other with red. What I know from previous engine that usually stands for large or small bearing shake, but what about when they are marked different in the same set? Should they go in any specific side of the rod like the "sputter" ones i vw´s or what?
