Who knows the 911 oil pump supplier

Hello my oil pump 911 2.4 1972 is worn and i like to know who the manufacturer was. On the housing is GFG mark.

Any Idea

you want to contact the company for a new one ???
don't know who
but i do know it's going to be expensive

some companies rebuild them and replace the gears, dunno where you are located, only know an adress in Germany

but have you considered scoring a second hand later type pump? from an 3.2 or from an 3.0 SC ?? probably a lot cheaper

Are you trying to get under the 35 year warranty? Stijn idea is probably better money spent than replacing with like oil pump. Porsche upgraded these things all the way to the GT3 pump which may be used with some fitting.

Thanks sportman for your comments. IŽll buy a new GT3 Porsche so IŽll donŽt have to worry about my question ?

Bob,

My point with some tongue and cheek is that the oil pumps were continually improved throughout the years. If not for some particular reason, why NOT improve the oil pump with a later model? Why be stuck with older quality and pay more for something that few other than yourself will ever see?

Sure there was some sarcasm and a kindly bump for your question that so many others rushed in to answer. I was simply suggesting that modern pumps all the way to the GT3 can be substituted. THERE are guys on HERE that have used the GT3 pump or crank for that matter with good success. I figured from your question that you were looking for an OEM quality pump and this is the authentic baby from Porsche. Save your money for that matter and buy a used GT3.
