964 camshaft numbers
 

Hi guys,
A friend of mine has stripped his motor, and wanted to check what cams it has.
LH side is 964 105 247 07
RH side is 964 105 248 06

The RH cam seems to be different, as all my reference books state a 964 105 246 09 as the RH cam matching the above LH cam.

The PET system does list the 964 105 248 06, but has no model ref next to it.

Does anyone know what cam was in the RH side, and what would the effects be of running with the above cams in a CIS motor.

I would say looking at PET the Car you friend has, is without Power steering so the right CAM shaft is different in its end connection but the profile is the same ,check PET again as M657 next to anything has a Power steering requirement.
