Engine in and running!!!
Hi to all
After spending the winter rebuilding the engine for oil leaks and several broken head studs, it's all together, in and runs really nice. :D Found many problems from previous owner repairs, FV wasn't working, many grounds not hooked up, etc. It's all working now and the car has never run this well!! |
Congrats!!! It is always a great feeling when it fires up, runs better than ever, and knowing that you did it!!!

You know you need to post some pictures now, right?

Congrats, nothing like the first time you hear it fire up after months of blood, sweat and tears. I have a new appreciation for my car now.

You are brave... I can do a lot of work in the car and have done some rebuilds in other cars (951, F350...) but I still do not have the courage to open a 911 engine...
Congratulations again! |
It was definitely a learning experience. I bought it as a winter project and it was an interesting one. I was a little intimidated at first and had no porsche experience, but that's what books are for and this site! I work on cars all day everyday, but nothing like this!
