993 Pump into a 3.2?

Is this difficult? Anything other than checking clearances on reciprocating mass? Will this be nearly a bolt in upgrade..just trying to maximize flow with the TT's planned for the 3.2 case.

Any advise or suggestions/cautions?

Thanks in advance,

No one knows?

come on, no ones done this? I was told to upgrade the 3.2 oiling for a turbo and I thought this would be a good route.

Does anyone know of any clearance issues or specail fitting requirements?

Should work fine......bolt away.

Luke:

Just my opinion, but I'd be using either a 930 or GT-3R oil pump for any Turbo motor that has more HP than stock level.

3.6 pumps are magnesium and expand more than the aluminum/iron 930 or all-aluminum GT-3R ones. Further, the GT-3R ones do a better job of scavenging the sump which is so important on a forced-induction motor.

I agree......ideally use a 930 or GT3R pump.

The GT3R pump in an earlier 3.0L case took some dorkin' around to fit right but it wasn't that big-a-deal.......not sure how they fit in the 3.2L case?

Steve?....:)
