Painting SC rockers?
 

For some reason my SC rockers did not get painted when the PO repainted the car.

The finish on the rockers is flat black rippled.

My body paint is a metallic blue.

Should I get the rockers painted to match the body?

On a stock SC with metallic paint, were the rockers painted? Given the likely rock and dirt abuse the rockers take, will they be stone chipped like crazy within a year if I repaint them?

That spoilsport moderator - I thought we could have some fun with this. We could recommend oil shedding paint, or heat shedding paint. Maybe discuss the virtues of powdercoating, a la fans and fan housings. That sort of thing.
