Connecting rod Part # guide ? Anyone ?
Does anyone have a list of connecting rod part #`s to help me figure out whats what ?
Also what designates an "s" rod and aside from nitrating whats the difference ? Isnt shotpeening an alternate crack preventative? When a rod has the s after the part# inside the surounding w form is that the designation of S rod? Im aware that some S rods had the ink stamp S on them but after 30-40 years and rebuilds is there another way to confirm whats what. I cant imagine the ink stamp stays there after being stripped and rebuilt. Kurt Williams |
