Timing Gears Worn or not worn thats the question
Dear All,
worn or not worn, might be only the supplier of the gears to tell. But who is the supplier. Or what does the oem drw. says. Any ID http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1174298245.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1174298265.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1174298309.jpg |
Bob,
Your timing SPROCKETS look fine. The gears are on the intermediate shaft and crankshaft inside the motor casing along with the drive sprockets. Get a flashlight and look at the drive sprockets. As the sprockets wear the tips of the sprocket teeth get "pointy". The flat spot at the sprocket tips is worn away. Good question. |
