993 crank long-stroke SC

I have a 993 crank lying around with 993 con-rods and planning to rebuild my 3.0 SC engine.
Has anybody ever tried or made a conversion of the 3.0 to a ca. 3.4l engine using a 993 crank?
I was told the 993 crank fits into the housing and I would guess one would need substantially shorter con-rods than on the SC crank to reach the same deck height.
Or are pistons available that have the wrist pin located higher to the top of the piston?
Another concern is, that maybe the piston skirts would be to long if set deeper and touch the crank.

I know it is a silly idea, but maybe someone did this before?

Every input is welcome!

Sebastian
