Where is the Engine # of my Porsche 911
Where do I find the engine # on my car? I need to take a photo of it.

Look on the upright just to the right of the fan housing where it makes a right angle next to the temperature sender

Here's a couple photos to help you out. There are two place for the engine numbering. One is the engine type and the other is the serial number.
