hey , with warmer weather are cold start lower druck pressures normal? I just changed to rotella and noticed i run hotter and have a little lower pressures . i have 3 bar on cold start ,can some1 put my mind at ease?

Yes oil pressures are lower in warmer weather. Cold start pressures are irrelevant as long as they are higher than fully warmed up pressures. Most 911's have 1 Bar (15PSI) per 1000 RPM when hot. Some have as low as 10 PSI per thousand RPM when hot. If you get below this second figure then it's time to do something about the problem.
Temperature differences between oils are a figment of the collective imagination IMO. They are in the same catagory as the "Butt dyno" and I think there is very little useful information from those anectdotes. -Andy
