Help!!..engine reving really high on start up!!
 

hi guys,just installed my engine 1992 964 turbo after rebuild,when engine eventually got fuel through and started the revs shoot very high to at least 3k++ at which point i keep just turning the engine off as i dont want it to rev any higher!!(tried it loads of times and keeps doing this)
i have removed the air injection from my car aswell,,checked throttle body which seems to be just a small bit open which i think is normal? and throttle cable seems to be slack...any sugestion where to start checking???...hope yous can help!

looks like may have been a bent throttle linkage causing the throttle flap to be slightly open,,seems to be ticking over ok but now have new problen,,check new post
