Im trying to find out what size header to use 4 my 3.2 short stroke which will have 46mm PMO's soon. I wanna use the type of headers that will connect directly to a 2-in 2-out sport muffler.:confused:
I've been told by two different sources 1 5/8 inside diameter and 1 1/2 inside diameter. Hoping some of the experts could straighten me out on this one.

What cams are you going to use?

That determines RPM range and thusly, optimal header diameter,..:)

I,m sticking with 964 cams for now. Also I have 79 heads & J&E 9.5 pistons.
