Wink Critique my approach & need mach. shop

Well, I have the engine out and on the engine stand. I am looking for a machine shop to rebuild the heads, near Bostn.

Approach:

Engine out take wife out to dinner
Engine to long block take wife out to dinner
Engine apart take wife out to dinner
Wife is starting to like this process!!!
Do I have the right idea???

If anyone near Watertown MA would like to see the rebuild give me a call

Yea but the only problem is that you'll spend all of the porsche money on taking the wife out to dinner !

The wife here strongly opposed to a required rebuild and associated time claim this will put on the lucky guy who plans doing it...until....

...until a few weeks ago on the way to work, I was in slow traffic stop and go due to traffic lights ahead. Various red / green cycles.

Then a lady behind me steps out of her car, walks up to me and says:
Sir, do you know that your car is really smoking when pulling up !!??

When I told this at home, wife was upset: how I dare driving this polluting vehicle around....

Should have had this clue before.... so bet what project I have for the winter :-)
