can I use EMPI 4011 Case Saver, 10mm ID X 1/2 " OD as well

I would like to know if I can use EMPI 4011 Case Saver, 10mm ID X 1/2 " OD
instead of the OD M14x2

I wonder why I can´t stay with 1/2" OD instead are going to M14.
I M14 pulls out. My case ist dead.

Repair stripped and worn head stud threads. Case savers provide greater hold. Each kit has 8 inserts.

Just my .02 cents empi of today isn't the same as the good old day's I wouldn't use there products on a VW motor I definitely wouldn't use them a 911 engine.....

I bet the 1/2" is a fine thread and thats what you don't want..
