One last Case sealing question
After looking at all the sealant threads i have not seen an image as to how to avoid the thru bolt hole that feeds the cams. I assume (don't want to if i don't have to) that you should not put Threebond on the portion inside the groove supplied in the case. Is that correct. Use locktight or nothing at all?
Thanks 022SPA ![]()

Actually you don't want any sealant in that groove at all. You should try to use a minimum amount of sealant around that groove. That groove is to allow oil that escapes the hole to escape back into the case and not leak to the outside.

I know everyone is in a hurry to seal the case at this point but has anyone snapped a picture of the entire case showing Threebond coverage?
