82 3liter cis onto rebult 2.7
 

I bought the 3.0 liter to replace worn out 2.7.. turns out 3.0 needs major work, Porsche mechanic swaps complete rebuilt 2.7for my 3.0 liter long block. I have installed all electronic boxes for 82 3.0 into my 76 911s and now am in a conundrum... The 3.0 liter cis is much better shape (cowling, altinator, etc) Can I use the 3 liter distributor ? and or any more complications? thanks, g rad
