What r your thoughts on this flywheel?(pics)
I was using this flywheel to hold up my crank, and somehow water got into the bag that was covering it.
I cleaned off the rust, and took a fine wire brush to it. it feels smooth, but its not mirror like the rest of it. Can i reuse? will a reface do anything or is this garbage? ![]() ![]()

I'd hit it with a scotch-brite "whizzer" and call it good.

The rust is no problem but the blue hotspots will be. Machine it or replace it. That way you're assured of no clutch chatter.
