Weber Jetting w/ E cams

Ive got a 2.4 that I will be putting E cams in over the weekend. Ive seen the standard setting on the Weber to match the E cams being

Idle 55 Air 180 and choke Venturi 32

I currently have on the way the 55 Idle and 180 Choke but have 30 Venturi's..
Im wondering from those of you w/ knowledge on this if these 30's will be sufficient.. as to how they will perform w/ the rest of the setup.

I think you should go with 32mm venturis. It'll be fine.

What would show to be the difference in the 2 ? Would the 30's give better fuel econ and less power?

Larger venturis will flow more air. Mileage may or may not be affected, depending on your driving style.

2 liter engines were supplied with 27mm venturis and small jets (110) for emissions requirements. I changed to 30mm and 125 and it ran slightly better.

The 2.7 engines typically use 34mm venturis.

Stay with the 30s if you want, but you might be leaving some power on the table.

Thanks for the info sherwood. Know where I might be able to find a set of 32's for a reasonable deal .. Id prefer to just trade up.

After spening that much time and money re-building your motor, I wouldn't let the cost of a few chokes get in your way. Why have E cams, if your only going to provide T induction?
