First oversize bore on case and standard main bearings? Huh?

So I got a call from EBS today, they just got done checking out my case. They told me, to my surprise, that the case had already been bored to first oversize on the mains.

I just got back in from the garage and checked the mains I pulled out of the case - thank goodness they were still on my bench. They are all clearly marked 'std'. What the heck is going on here?? The bearings were all cleanly seated in the case and were in excellent condition upon removal. Oil pressure was fine 'for a 2.7' - 18 psi at cold idle, a bit under 10 when hot.

Need some ideas here - I trust EBS based on their reputation but this just doesn't add up.

Just wanted to clear this up. Measured the bearings today, they are indeed first oversize mains - the STD refers to the crank.
