Leak Down, what should I look for?

I will be doing a leak down on my car tomorrow (freshly rebuilt 3k miles ago), it stil smokes intermitently that is why. 2.7CIS stock re ringed cylinders not replaced.
I am wondering what I should be looing for and what should throw a red flag. any tech articles written on this subject that anyone knows about?

thanks
Chris

Do a compression check first.
It's possible the rings haven't seated.
If the compression is low anywhere, spray in some oil, I use WD-40, then recheck.
If the compression rises significantly after spraying oil, the problem is a worn out cylinder, or a need to run a grape hone lightly through the cylinders.
If the compression is fine, likely a valve guide issue.
Ask me how I know.
Nikasil or Alusil?

Chris,

"If the compression rises significantly after spraying oil, the problem is a worn out cylinder, or a need to run a grape hone lightly through the cylinders."

Simply changing rings usually do not reseal properly.
