how to tell if tension upgrade is done

Hi
I am new to 911's and actively looking for a one from the 80's. How can you tell if the tensioner upgrade has been done by looking into the engine bay. Is it the addition of the hydraulic line into the cover .Pictures are welcome thanks.

Yes, look for a hydraulic line going through the cover. For pics, the search button is your friend.

Circled in RED are the lines you need to see. The ones going across the top of the chain boxes that are combo metal/rubber hose are normal to all the 911s you might be looking at.
