Should I Wait???

I was hopeing to have my bottom end assembled on my 3.0 rebuild by now however I hit a snag with the piston squirters in that they were all stuck open so I decided to replace them all. They are all removed and ready for re-installation however they are on back order at the factory, I have been waiting 2 weeks and have been told I should have them by the end of this week. I did want to wait to assemble the bottom end untill they were in so I can test them before I bolt the case up. Is there any sence in this or am I safe to rebuild the bottom end an reinsert the squirters after or is there a good reason to wait?

Steve
