Rebuilding 964 oil pump
Well, this weekend while disassembling my oil pump to check for damage from the spun bearing in my engine, I managed to bugger up one of the bushings on the drive shaft of the oil pump. Does anybody know if these can be rebuilt? It only has 20K miles on it, and the insides look pretty good.

964 oil pump
I saw your post back in 2006 about your oil pump. I need some parts for a 964 pump, do you still have yours? Price?

Why not just re-bush the pump body with phospher bronze?
Mcmaster Carr has tons of different size material that would let a machinist size and press into the body, then ream to size for the shaft. Good luck Bob

better yet, why not use the "permaglide" bushing material that is the new rave for small end conn rod re bushing I read from a pelican thread.
